Wash, condition, heat protectant, dry with technique, finish. About 60 minutes start to finish. Soft and smooth without being flat. Works for waves, loose curls, and stretched coils.

The silk press is a flat-iron finish on textured hair to achieve a smooth, sleek result. Built for special occasions, photos, or when you want the look for a few days without committing to chemical straightening.
Heat protectant in two layers. Lower iron temperature than most salons use. No more than once a month to keep the curl pattern intact.

Silk press once a month, fine. Every two weeks, the curl starts to loosen and recovery takes longer. Weekly, the curl pattern is at risk of permanent loosening (heat damage).
